QGIS LiveCD at FOSS4G2007
Submitted by Gary Sherman on Fri, 2007-09-14 15:57.

For the QGIS Workshop at the FOSS4G2007 conference we will be using a live CD. The CD works on PCs and Intel Macs and includes QGIS 0.8.1 and 0.9 preview, GRASS, FWTools, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, and Python.
We'll probably have a few extra of these CDs at the conference. If you are interested in trying the LiveCD, we'll make it available for download after the Workshop.
The LiveCD was created by the great folks at Ominiverdi and is based on Gentoo Linux running the Gnome desktop.

I didn't build the CD. You would have to check with the Ominiverdi folks.
