QGIS LiveCD Available for Download
Submitted by Gary Sherman on Tue, 2007-09-25 05:02.
The LiveCD used at the FOSS4G2007 QGIS workshop is now available for download.
You can download it from http://spatialserver.net/qgis-workshop-r3.iso (569MB). You'll need to burn the ISO to CD using appropriate software for your operating system.
To use the CD, make sure your PC is set up to boot from CD and reboot. On an Intel Mac, insert the CD and hold down the 'c' key when rebooting.
Once the LiveCD boots up, you can login with username qgisuser and password qgisuser.
The CD is known to work on systems with as little as 768Mb RAM, however 1Gb is preferred.
